As an Arctic Shred employee, I have had the opportunity to work fully remote. In my time with the company, I have been able to reflect on my position within the company as well as the work environment. As a recent first-time mother, Steven and Johanna, the owners of Arctic Shred have been extremely flexible with my hours and needs during this time. Working remote has allowed me more flexibility to take care of appointments and errands, I experience fewer interruptions from meetings and chitchat, I do not have to spend time in the mornings commuting to an office location, I have more time to spend with family, and I am able to work hours that I am most productive. This opportunity has allowed me to accomplish far more than I feel I could get completed in an office space. Another bonus to remote work is you can save money on your work wardrobes!

From past experience, committing to a 9-5 office job is one of the hardest things. The rigid schedule prevents you from handling almost anything that comes up in life, appointments, health, and much more. Having the opportunity to work from home allows you to meet deadlines and be available at times you have stated you would be. In most cases you have a larger window to tend to responsibilities without jeopardizing your job.

Good Morning!

I would like to sincerely thank you for your service, yesterday.  I was in town from Seward, had tried my usual stop for shredding documents only to find them closed and the next stop unable to shred as well.

When I called Arctic Shred the person answering the phone was incredibly helpful and the driver (Asher) was able to coordinate to meet me.  As our world seems to be getting less and less customer service oriented you really made my day.  Thank you for the excellent service.

Now that I see (on your website) that you come to Seward, I’ll coordinate shredding with you at this end of the highway next time I need it.
